Hello experienced Pilots
Which method do you recommend to learn nose in as I have no one to
show or teach me at our club,,
I've heard there's two methods,, Bottom up or top down ie.
Bottom up, start from the beginning with trianning legs back on and learn to hover nose in from the ground up
or
Top down, take the heli on a slow 8s and face it towards you and bring to a hover.
At the moment I can land/take off side on,, do loops/rolls double stall turns etc
even hold the heli inverted for a few seconds,, but just can't get to grips
with full on nose in,
I can do it on my Reflex sim for as long as I like but when I try "the real thing"
nerves get the better of me and I chicken out!!
Need to know the safest and best way to start,,
Thanks!

. . . . . .except as you turn, your thumbs are moving, so when you turn your heli is doing an airbourn funky chicken, rapidly followed by a ground based funky chicken. The pits have suddenly become deserted ?
