Hi there
I am a complete beginner at this heli flying stuff and i have been looking for a local club where i can get some help and advice on setting up and learning to fly my new toy.
I live in the bristol area so if anyone knows of a local club to me i would very much appriciate it
I am sure i will have a million questions to ask as i get more into the heli way of life.

Have you tried a search on the BMFA site..

http://www.bmfa.org/clubs/clist.php

Also within the memberlist, if you goto search then advanced you will find a hole host of ways to search members including locations. This may provide you a member who's on your doorstep.

Welcome to the forum!

I fly in and around the Bristol area, there is a club which flies at the old whitchurch airfield and out at Portishead, the site there is accessed from Weston-In-Gordano. The club is called AMARC and can be contacted either via their web site (www.amarc2002.co.uk) or by dropping in to see Ian at Fred Coulson Models. (www.fredcoulsonmodels.co.uk) he will be able to help you with most queries and or problems you may have, he will most likely give you my details too, as I have a flight training school only about 15 minutes from the shop.

Thanks for the replies to my enquirie about clubs i will be over to fred coulson models next week and i am sure i will be meeting with pete in the near future for some training
