Moment of Madness!!

My last thread was about buying a twister 3D and learning to fly, since then I have brought a flight SIM (RealFlight G3) and have been getting plenty of stick time in, I can hold a hover no problem tail in or side on (not quite so good at nose in..! )

Any way back to my moment of madness! I have decided to go all out and buy a T-Rex 600CF I've just got to wait for my turn on the waiting list!

This is the spec I have gone for:

T-Rex 600CF
600mm Century Wooden blades (Cheaper to replace when i crash..!!)
2x Align LiPo packs 6S2P 4200Mah/16C
Futaba FF7 Transmitter
Futaba 138DP PCM 8ch Receiver
3x Futaba S3152 Digital Servos
Futaba GY401 Gyro with 9254 Digital Servo
Power Peak Fun Charger with BID chips

Still waiting for Align to release there balancer for the LiPo's.

You should be off to a good start with all those goodies.... A big jump from the Twister 3D

I would just mind the head speed and Align recommend good quality carbon blades however, for normal flying and circuits you should be Ok but move to carbon whe you can or when you feel happy.

I gave up the woods a while ago on the ECO 8's

Is it a two week wait or more now ? Your see my answer to balancing over the weekend, have a look tomorrow it should be ready to load onto my site

I might be lucky enough to sneek on the list for next week if they get enough stock! Otherwise it's at least a two week wait

I was going to go for a metal sided version, but robbe the importer for Align said they probably wouldn't hit our shores until mid to late October and I just can't wait that long..!
