  • Fantastic day!

    Hi All
Have been up the field for about 6 hours and done a fair bit of fuel. The great thing is, even with a bit of a breeze, I have had an excellent days flying and felt really confident - it all seemed to gel today. Best yet, one of the guys told me I should be booking my A test!! This is great news as then I don't need an A test certified person to be with me when I fly (club rules).
Question is, are there any particular things I should look out for for my A test?
    Cheers,
    Cheers, Lee.

Well done Leebert, sounds as though you are really getting to grips with it all, had to work Sat. so no flying, and today its blowing a hooley here, so as an inexperienced newcomer, its back to the sim today!.
Good luck with your est when you organise it.

      Leebert,

Nice one go for the 'A'. Its been surgested I go for my 'A' as well.

Windy here as well, didn't fly Saturday I was at Top Gun watching the
planes fly. Was a good day out and the cross wind was giving those planes
some problems on take off and landing.

Al was there from Al hobbies with a big Glider with a Turbine on top of it...
WoW does it fly and how he made it roll and hold so well I'll never know.

Was a good day with some good deals like PCM receivers for 72pounds!
digi servos cheap as well, although I noticed they dont come with the servo
arms etc. The Futaba 9 was a good deal as well plus the 7c was priced well.

Soon be the Nats and deals galore for radio gear.

Good on ya leebert, keep it up. I have seen Al fly a few times and have never seen anybody better at prop hanging, have yet to see him fly a heli but apparently he is more than capable.
