    Co-pilot

Fixer i never purchased the fs8 due to the fact when i done my research on the co-pilot the fs8 seemed complicated to set up. and the DB4 thing i got was simple un complicated sometimes the best is the hardest to sort, cheap can pay dividends...

            Co-pilot

So far so good i've turned it down a bit more and still no crash the only thing i can see is that you have to fly high enough up so if you do get introuble it has time to correct itself.
Was flying about 3ft off the ground and things went a bit wrong and had to correct it myself as the co-pilot i felt would have let it hit the ground with the tail mind it was quite windy.

The field were I fly is as big as two football pitches but it is surrounded by trees, I have calibrated it many times but it just fights with me all the time even on low settings, the trees are 30ft and I haven’t got the skill to try it above them.

                    Ballast that saves money.

Our field is small and in a valley, but i set the heli on its side and push the calibration button while standing to the rear right hand side.

I then stand the heli on its skids and stand about 15ft away move my cylic to the right, job done start my heli and away i go, i found you have to follow the instruction to the letter for it to work during set up mode before calibration. Not all of us can fly from birth with a natural abilty, and one more expensive crash would have put this hobby in the bin and stuck to kitesurfing. This little bit of ballast means i can now progress.

Dont talk to me about natural ability,i wish i had some,i thought the more i progressed the easier it would become, seems i keep hitting brick walls....

                      Not literally

Im glad the co pilot works for you,any system that helps is worthwhile in my book,i just didnt really see the point of them...

it doesnt matter how long you have been flying for or how young you started the brickwalls just keep getting bigger.

Having had lots of experience with new fliers and helping them progress as well as working with a couple of co-pilots one thing i am sure of is that a co-pilot is not the best way to climb em.

however. they do have one use. long range or high altitude aerial photography.
