  • Ist Flight With New Raptor

    Hi There ,
Well I had my first flight with my new Raptor 30V2, having just a little cosmetic work to do, I took the Heli into my local shop, who checked it over, test flew it, and made the necessary adjustments while I was on holiday, but today it was my chance to fly it with one of the guys from the shop on a buddy lead, and boy did I enjoy myself. I fully intend to carry on with the lessons, as today proved that things can get away from you very quickly, each time that happened, my instructor was there to rescue the situation, I will carry on practising the basic manouvers alone when I can, but will have the added security of someone else on a set of controls incase it goes pear shaped as I push myself a little further.
Cant wait to get out again, and will be practising in the garden with the Twister 3D as often as the batteries will allow.
Should be quiet tomorrow afternoon, so off flying I will go
Happy Flying everyone, and have a good weekend

      Well done mate,

I tought myself to fly with a Rappy.
Its all about patience, a bit of push at the right time, and knowing your limits.

I got thru a few crash kits myself but its all part of the experience in my opinion!

      Happy flying dude.

          Well done Kwickkwak!!
I know exactly how you feel as I went through then same with a Raptor a few weeks ago. Although I had flown a Hony Bee and the sim before, nothing prepares you for the feeling of hearing the revs come up as you lift your baby into your first hover!!
I take it from your name that you have a bike too. Mine hasn't had a look in since starting with the Heli. I'll have to get out on it soon before I forget how to ride it!!
          All the best,
          Cheers, Lee.

            Hi Leebert,
Yes a ZX9R, C2. but the new hobby has completely taken over, and I am going to sell the bike, in all honesty, I havent used it much for the last two years, so I am sure my new hobby and new toys will fill the gap.
            All the best chaps.

Thats the problem if you dont ride reguarly, so keep it right side up, and the same for the heli, ( Di you see MOTO GP)
Best of luck for the reminder of the season
