clubs in Hampshire ?

Hi all,

Anyone from a local club taking on new members for learning helis please ? I can hover, nose in hover, small eights and lazy eights but need to find somewhere to practice !!!
I do have a great local club but it is mostly planes....

Dorset is a good field, some dodgy characters though - dont give them you MSN id !!!

else the Alton club just east of Winchester, good bunch there too, plenty of space

I have contacted every 'reasonably' local club, I have posted on BMFA forum, I have even advertised fir a field in farmers weekly but I am no further forward....
Thanks anyway but too much cash sat there doing nothing, looks like ebay for me.

Alton, luck sod, I'm over the other side of Midhurst and drive to Ropley to fly, not far from you.

If you have spare Saturday, Sunday morning or Wednesday then come down. As far as I know, new members are always welcome. The only flying restriction we have is no IC helis on a Sunday afternoon.

go down to the Club and get him in!

I hope to re-gain a Heli Flyer who hasnt flown for 2 years back into
flying Helis once more.

Should be, Sunday is the best day though as that's when the heli lot fly, I fly on a Saturday with the plankers and the odd heli. Wednesdays are good too.
