At the end of the day, you have a heli to mess about with, it will give you a into and you can start learning, it's cheap enough not to worry too much - I started with a tiny miro thing, never managed to fly it but it got me started.

        Thomas,

        Wise words mate.

Buying a walkera 36 tought me how to set a heli up inside out and back again!
Got the bleeder to just about hover, flogged it, got my money back and got the twister.

        Its all about learning.
        Cheers,

        Gazza

thanks guys , thats my feelings exactly , its not broke the bank and most of it i can use again and if the worst comes to the worst i can resell, lets face it all of the 'known' helis were once 'unknowns'

.. you could have done what Daywalker did - fork out £1100 on a complete Raptor 50 and everything to go with it, then decide the hobbie is not for you, sell it and loose a lot more than a £100.

Thomas is right. I did a similar thing and bought an E-sky Honey Bee without much in the way of research. It turned out to be a foriegn one and most of the UK spares "didn't quite fit". It has cost me more in spares than the heli did originally!
Almost everyone slates these small helis but having said that, it got me addicted enough to go out and get a sim (Reflex) and then get a secondhand Raptor 50 and I can honestly say if it wasn't for the little Honey Bee I may not have started out in this addictive hobby at all.
The Honey Bee still gets an airing on quiet evenings in the back garden as well as I am currently trying to master nose in hovering (the crashes are cheaper ).
              Regards
              Cheers, Lee.

I'm contemplating going for the Twister 3D and have found the deal that you are talking about for £115.00 with channel4models.com which if I remember rightly are based down in dorset.
