PCM Recievers

I purchased from a popular internet bidding site a shiney JR PCM, NER-638xz reciever with the ABC&w system and i cant get the thing to work with my heli, im using a dual conversion crystal and a JR pcm 9x2 transmitter set to Spcm and tried ZPCM, is the thing faulty or am i being a mong and setting it up wrong?

I thought JR PCM Rx's did'nt use Dual Conversion Xtal's!?

I know this is a dumb question but are you sure you have a 35mhz one and not a US issue one or something?

will try it with a standard xtal and see how it go's its def a 35mhz
