  • Bought a buzzfly, now looking at simulators

Hello everyone. I'm looking for advice but I'll explain my situation first. About a month ago my boss bought two of these to play with in work and I instantly fell in love. I then bought a Buzzfly and have been very happy with it. I am able to hover reasonably well 'tail in' and have been trying to progress to hovering while 'nose in'. I have to admit I became a little over confident and have had a couple of crashes while learning 'nose in'. As such I'm now looking to buy a simulator and do all my crashing virtually. I've read your newbie guide which suggests, funds permitting ( which they are ), at this stage I should be looking to buy a proper transmitter to go with the simulator. So basically can anyone suggest models I should take a look at? I don't want to make a snap decision like I did with the Buzzfly an possibly get something inappropriate. In terms of budget I guess I'd be happy to spend anything up to a few hundred pounds.

    Thanks in advance

Firstly Jata welcome to the forum friend.

Congrats achieving what you have, that's very good going indeed, as for Sim's & Tx's kit yourself with the DX6i & Phoenix, that's all your need, which will cost around the £160 mark.

    Best of luck.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've had a think and I'm going to go with the DX6i and Phoenix. I've looked at the DX7 but I doubt I'd make use of the extra features at this stage. I can always upgrade once my skills become god like eh ;-)
