Blade Balancer

Hi Folks

I just wanted to know whether or not I need to buy one of these. I am a complete beginner and will be flying with wooden blades.

If I need one, any recommendations, I was looking at the Kyosho one.

hi brashhighlander,
you will certainly need a balancer as you must ensure your blades are balanced,or you will have problems with vibration etc,
i use a century blade balancer does the job,

I nearly bought one when I started but never got round to it, I used a pair of wine glasses and a bolt - this mthod worked fine on my Trex blades so I expect good enough for most sizes. Carbon blades don't need balancing but I still check 'em.

I have a very blue Quick UK one.

Every set of blades I've ever checked have been spot on so no work to do there, but at least I check them, which is more than many people.
