  • Flying Hirobo Lama XRB SR Outside

    Hi Guys,

Sat on the step outside tonight, I noticed that there was very little wind so I took my Lama outside to see how it would behave. Not that well is the answer. I've watched a video on the Ricky Blaze website where he flies his Lama outside with seemingly little bother. I've seen websites selling carbon fiber blades for the Lama and I was wondering if these would make a difference to the Lama's outdoor behaviour ? I know the Lama is an indoor heli, but my buddies boy has got a Twister Bell and that behaves much better outdoors and actually flies quite nicely. Any comments would be most welcomed, expecially from Lama pilots.

    Hi Gunner
Played with the Lama for a few weeks but never found it convincing outside.
The problem was always getting going forward- Try this link the Mod has been around for a while but I never tried it just decided it was not going to work outdoors.

    You may fancy trying it!!
    Good Luck
    Dave
ps. you will find this site interesting - check out the video of the Lama charging around outdoors-
