    Hi Mike,

    I would say that if there is no mention in the manual about using greese then you dont need any. Most of the nylon type gears used in micro electric helis are so say self lubricating. The only really important thing about the gears is to insure that the meshing is right.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Pete.

      Left stick throttle. Stick up Heli up. Stick down heli down?
      Left stick rudder. Stick left Heli nose right. Stick right Heli nose left?
      Right stick Pitch. Stick up Heli nose down. Stick down heli nose up?
      Right stick Ailron. Stick right heli leans right. Stick left heli leans left?

      does elivator = pitch

        This is for what we call "mode 2" different modes put different controls in different places, the other common one is mode 1 where the throttle and elevator are swapped with each other to the left/right stick.

        Left stick;

        Left = NOSE left
        Right = NOSE right
        Forward = more collective pitch = heli goes UP
        Back = less collective pitch = Heli goes DOWN

        Right stick;

        Left = rolls/tilts left = Left Cyclic pitch
        Right = rolls/tilts right = Right Cyclic pitch
        Foward = Elevator/Foward cyclic pitch = nose DOWN
        Back = Elevator/back cyclic pitch = nose UP

        should make a bit more sense
