  • New DXE tx

    Hi Guys
Looking at a Blade 230S RTF, as this comes with the new DXE tx, can you use it like the old dx6i and bind it to, and use with other Blade Heli's?
If so, would it be better than the dx6i, or more versatile?
    Cheers.

Definitely not better, nor more versatile. It's a really basic TX designed for those RTF combos. If you want something versatile, the new DX6 is perfect.

No problem .. RC-Hero have it for a good price ... Spektrum DX6 6 Channel Transmitter Only Mode 2 [SPMR6700EU]

Bear in mind though, if you just want a RTF-combo, then the DXe is designed to work with the 230S. It's pre-programmed, bailout is all enabled on the right switches etc. The RTF setup is perfect for those just wanting to dip their toes in the hobby.

If you want a more long-term option though, the BNF version of the 230S with a DX6 or DX7 may be a better option. Certainly the DX6/7 is more future-proof for other helis.

Depends what you want though with the 230S ...
