Just seen it. Another bloody idiot causing an accident. The poor child who was injured now has to go through life with only one eye!!! How many more incidents will it take before people realize these are not toys.

perhaps a lot more, if I go into a shop, called mankind I'm sure they will sell it no probs to me without the rule from the caa, like watchdog said would be in with a quad, shop are there to sell the stuff and don't care. how if this was America I'm sure a lawyer would be involve.

quads are quite easy to fly compare to a heli, so people that buy heli's always end up crashing on take off, depending on the model, quad you normal get away with a couple of crashes before it wont fly again

I knew it was bad news from day 1 that you could get large toy helis etc in Maplin etc. Nothing but bad news for the hobby.

it will have an affect on all bladed machines whether multi rotor or not.
Horrible accident that should never have occurred. poor wee lad.

I wouldn't mind starting a fund for him from responsible modellers

Just watched the program.
Shame but it wont be the last until they get it sorted.Shops sell sell they should have watched watch.How do they sleep at night.
