  • Help wih lama v4

Hi all Just a quick question, I have a lama v4 and everything worked fine but all of a suddent it dont want to go forward, i checked my servo's and when it stands still both servos work correctly, there is no problem with flying backwards it is only forward

    Thank you all

check the servo's again mate it sounds like the right hand servo is only operating in one direction.(view from behind)

the only other thing i can think of is to check your swash hasn't become detached . they sometimes split but can easily be pushed back together.

other than that you may have to resort to swapping parts till you find the fault.

thanks for the reply i checked the swash plate and it was indeed loose i clipped it back together but the the problem is still the same, when i'm standing at the back of the heli it goes a little forward but when i turn it around and i want it to come forward towards me it just hovers on one place.....

that doesn't make sense mate. turning it around should not make any difference!!

the only thing i can suggest is swap the servo's round and see if the problem moves to sideways flight. if the problem is the same it could be your 4in1 controler if it moves its the servo.

Thanks for the reply i did swap the 2 servos and the problem is still the same, My antenna wire is still rolled up in the body like i bought it, could that maybe be the problem? another thing i noticed was that when i lift it and it hovers and i dont give any input eg forward or backward the chopper comes to the back and then i have to counter measure otherwise it will crash.. Thnx for all the advice so far ron
