GPRO Setup

Good morning folks. My first time on the forum so please be gentle.

I have just come back to RC flying after a 5 year layoff. Making the transition to 2.4 ghz I bought a radio and a Trex 500 flybarless to go with it. I have always buzzed around in the past with a Trex 450 v2 on 35 MHz and found the aircraft great fun.

I have built the 500 and set it up but am confused how the Gpro works with the TR. I have set it up with the laptop but do I inhibit the gyro settings on the radio or set ch5 to say 50% heading hold in normal as I did with my flybarred 450.

I have tracked the 500 but not lifted yet and I don't want any nasty surprises. Any help would be appreciated.

Eh up buddy,
I have a 6s 450L dominator and in the parameter setup my gyro gain is set at 80 but i also use the gain in the radio which is 50% in norm mode at 0-80-80-80-80 throttle and 46% idle up 1 at 93-93-93-93-93 throttle and 44% at 100-100-100-100-100 in idle up 2, she fly's superb and it is ok to use gpro gain aswell as gain in radio, your settings will differ but in short yes use both.
