I think neXt somewhat bizarrely works better with Spektrum TX's if they're in 'Acro' (plane) mode rather than heli ...

Get yourself one of those 8-in-1, or 12-in-1 sim adaptors from eBay. They work a treat on pretty much any sim, and are absolutely tiny. I can use mine with Phoenix, neXt and Heli-X, and if you have a Spektrum radio and are ok at soldering they're awesome converted to wireless :-)Originally posted by Jez N View PostHave only ever tried Phoenix. But recently i have been getting a lot of jerkiness. Although the support from Phoenix have tried to sort it, it's as bad as ever. So currently in the hunt for another sim as well. Have downloaded NeXt, but my phoenix cable isnt compatible, so need to order one from the internet. Also tempted by AccuRC. Just waiting for one to come up in the for sale section to give it a try.Helis: Oxy 2 FE / Oxy 2 Sport / Protos 380 / Oxy 4 Max / Gaui X3 380mm

I have next, Pheonix , accurc and an old version of real flight. They are all good for various things.
Pheonix is probably the best all rounder although autos are way too easy.
Next has some nice newer Align Models more up to date and they fly like the real thing or as close as you can get on a sim.
Accurc is nice, there is so much that you can change and will wont a high spec PC to run at its fullest, i'm still undecided on it personally. Silly things like too many clicks to get flying, where as next and pheonix as soon as it starts your flying.
I asked this same question a while ago and got many many different opinions so in the end I bought 3 of the main 4 in my eyes.Oxy 2 - Spartan VX1n
