Took Rex out to the field this evening, nice clear sky, little wind, ideal. First pack no problem, pottered about doing circuits and approach practicing. Second pack coming in to land and it was coming too fast and towards me too much, lost orientation and dumped it.
Broken visibly, blades, tail blades, main gear and flybar bent. Servos all check out and work fine, but I expect main shaft and feathering to be fubared plus possibly tail shaft.
Came of very lightly really made a hell of a smack
. Oh well thats why I bought a 'cheap to repair' heli, my R60 would have been close to £100, this, £25 at most.
Back to the sim for more practice and the field for more crash dodging
