  • First proper flight without major crash

Well finally did it. Used up two batteries and landed it a fair few times etc. Two heavy lands only cracked landing gear.

Had a fiddle with the beginner, intermediate and advanced settings. Went to intermediate and thought yeah that's ok. Not to bad. Could tell the difference but I'll stick with beginner till I'm ready properly.

Advanced!! Wooaahh put stick forward and near enough nose dived to the ground. Caught it and controlled it nicely. Straight away turned it back to beginner. Near enough lost it haha

    happy days.

I got no idea............yet, am waiting to get back home from work abroad then will have a look with help from the forum. Am brand new so not a lot of knowledge and seems I bought a bit of an older model. So bit of a struggle ahead and steep learing curve.

Tom, if you can, try to get somebody who can fly already to take a look at your heli. As I'm sure you're now aware, the Honey Bee King 2 is pretty tricky even if it's working well. The last thing you want to begin with is a heli that even an experienced pilot couldn't handle!

Stretch - Well done! That "advanced mode" is how collective pitch helis fly. Build your way up to it - get comfortable with each mode before you move onto the next and you'll be flying big helis before you know it!

Thinking bout this, is the wiring to the tail rotor correct? Only thing I know about that might do that. Or rotor blade reversed?

Thanks walden the advanced is mental

                  Hey Stretch,

I did post elsewhere on the forum a couple of weeks ago and checked the rotation and pitch angle and both seem ok. My trouble is I work abroad so time home is limited. Am next home on Friday for just over a week so will be posting & pm ing more for advice to get it going I hope.

Are both saying that you crashed your previous ones beyond repair!? That's unusual!

Lol no tom. When it fell out of sky I've got to replace main frame as one side is damaged. Plus when I break something I buy upgraded parts. Bloody expensive. Wouldn't of had to if it didn't cut out

Sounds like you guys are not getting much air time in between crashes! I thought the bailout button was supposed to prevent crashing and was a big selling point for this heli?
