first a bit about me. I am 55yrs old married with 4 kids my hobbies were fishing, cooking, building computers for friends and family, my ps4 (yes ps4) and flying my micro heli around the house, which is the reason I have joined this forum for Christmas I built my wife a new computer that can run 3 32 inch tvs at the same time using 3 graphic cards cost just short of £1000.00 ( shop bought about £2500) she bought me a helicopter or so she thought what she actually bought was a kit a (black angel kit). having no idea about this or what to do I decided to find out what I had to do youtube her I come found some videos some doing a black angel and another one doing a ex 450 the latter seeming the most informative had to find a supplier of the other parts needed servos motor rudder transceiver receiver charger batteries x2 programmer usb connection tools got everything I need I think now its time to watch the videos I ripped from youtube put everything together but know the fun begins nothing works has it should the ele goes wrong the ailron goes wrong the pitch goes wrong wait got the motor an tail motor to work think its because I have changed positions of pitch and elevator alter them again to see what happens all gone wrong again right watch the videos again hang on whats that a swashplate tool for levelling will this help have a find one awaiting delivery now will carry on when I get the leveller.so that's what I am doing now if anybody has any ideas please feel free to post them for me thanks for reading

Hi Eddie welcome to the forum.
the black angel is copterx from what I can see so should be pretty much identical to a Align trex 450.
it sounds like you have not got your mix menu in the radio set up correctly. Try this. (For safety disconnect the three wires to the motor.)

set throttle hold or better still disconnect the motor then

move the throttle stick up and down. all three servo's should move together,as you raise the stick the swash should rise. as you lower it the swash should fall..( if there is a problem go to the reverse menu in the servo set up list of your radio and alter the pitch/airl/elev servo's till they all work together in the same direction.

now the right stick.
stand behind the heli.
each movement of the right stick should move the swash the same. eg forward tilts the swash forward etc. if you have a problem go to the swash mix menu. you will see the 3 values set with either a + or - %
if the swash tips back instead of forwards change the value of the elev mix to opposite what it is now set at(eg from +60% to -60%)
if the swash tips right instead of left change the airl value to opposite.
left stick
if the swash moves in the wrong direction/tilts when you apply forward stick change the pitch mix value to opposite


It may be worth mentioning which radio your using,as they often work with different set up styles,so adjusting specific values can differ.

And I would advise getting it checked over by someone with experience if you can,a 450 heli can pack a hard punch!

Size of tv is irrelevant though, What res are they and what graphics card(s) have you used? £2500 shop bought is a lot of computer. No doubt that you can save money by building yourself. But probably not that much.

My graphics card allows 4 displays on it at the same time. So not sure why you would need three separate cards for TVs?

thanks for the the reply boggy the controller is a copterx cx-ct6c although I have not yet looked into the program side of it yet (still trying to find the best program for a beginner on these size heli's) not much chance of finding anybody around her to check it out most people hobbies around here are pub based only. (old mining village)

hi james size and quality does matter on the screens espicailly if you are running in 3d model msi radeon r9 290 twin frozr gaming cards with 4gb gddr5 chips pure gaming machine.the reason for separate cards is simple one card running 3 screens has a lot of lag between them but with 3 separate cards your systems run a lot smoother like when she is video conferencing between isreal America Germany at the same time the is no delay in what is said its like when you see news castor reporting from abroad on their satalite recievers you get a time lapse between voices, well this system stops all that

these are the menu's you need to look at. get all three servo's working together channels 1/2/6. (red arrow menu) then individually in the right direction (green arrow menu)

done all that then re-did it as shown on your diagrams but my copterx 3x2000 just goes red instead of blue.write more latter have vistors now (bloody family always turn up when I am in my study)
