i normally check fast lad first as they seem to have the most variety in their stock, but if somewhere like rc-hero has it, then its most likely to be cheaper from them.

rcferret is a nice site also.

I would guess that most of us order stuff online rather than traipse around model shops only to be told " sorry that part is out of stock at the moment but we can get it in for next week"

You could do a lot worse than try some of the sponsors of this site - order on Monday, in your mit Tuesday!

I tend to use Midland helis, Fast Lad, RC Hero and Align Trex. Also, I second Ron's suggestion of RC-Ferret - works really well

For cheap stuff like that I always check eBay. If you need a bunch of parts the main helicopter shops are great as they often have everything in and you just pay one lot of postage.

However if it's a single small item, especially for smaller helicopters, look on eBay. You'll often find the part and postage for about the price of just the part at the mainstream shops.

Bluenose its a great heli. Got it myself last week and learning to fly it. It is tricky to learn and figure out but it's nice when you're able to buzz around a nice open field. I've crashed a few times and had to replace the main gear, tail boom and supports but it's easy to do. Go for it. I reckon you won't regret it.

bought it from the same place also. Tjd models in Dartford. They keep them well stocked on the shelves. £174.99

While it's a very nice heli it has a fixed pitched rotor head. Wonderful for when you're starting out as it makes for a very simple and easy to fly model but people tend to out grow fixed pitched varieties very quickly. That means the upgrade market for them is quite limited to the point of not worth the time, effort and expense of producing upgrade parts at all. I know if I was a third party producer I wouldn't be investing in producing parts for a model that is probably only going to be flown for a maximum of 2 months then put on the shelf and never touched again.

Don't see why they wouldn't do if it means custom. If not tjd will just send it to you next day I believe. Got a cheap £15 job myself for inside but can't really fly it. Has its own mind
