Hi All
In Cape Town on holiday at the moment and was looking for a GY401 and S9254, but they are trying to sell me these instead. Anyone know anything about them. Can,t trust these South Africans too much!

The Gyro is the JR version of a GY401, not too sure on the servo.

You can get a package of the gyro and servo for 179.99 in the UK via Motors & Rotors.

You can get the next version up in gyro from Motors & Rotors at 160.00 no servo though its on special at the moment.

I suspect the Gyro will hold fine, you just want to see that the servo speed is more line the S9254 or S9253 less than .07sec and digital.

Thanks for all the info Stuart. I think I will stick to buying in the U.K.
They are asking about 180 Pounds for the gyro alone. The only Semi- decent heli I have seen here is the Airskipper 50 with an OS 50 Hyper for about 600 Pounds :lol:

There is a guy called footlock100 selling the Futaba GY401 with the 9254 servo brand new for 139.99 + 5.75 P&P (buy it now price) on eBay.

I purchased a set a couple of weeks ago and received the items the next day. There are still 13 available at the time of writing this message.

He also has the GY601/9251 for 235.
