  • Hello from Sunny Wales

Sunny Wales ? not quite Name here is treff and I am from near Swansea. Getting a bit long in the tooth, retired a few years ago and decided to try crashing cp helicopters.
That has really worked out well. I crashed plenty LOL. Anyway I hope to enjoy this site dedicated to the rotor blade and gain a bit of knowledge along the way. Cheers

Hi, Welcome to the forum and the addiction Treff.

I started the addiction just after I retired 3 years ago. It's not too easy for an old codger to learn to fly a cp heli but I am progressing.
You will get a lot of advice and opinions, on here!

Thanks very much for all the welcomes. Yes it is difficult and frustrating at times. Been stuck in a tree last year some 75 feet up had to do some thinking to get the heli back. It decided to spend the night up there LOL.
I fly mainly, no not mainly.............totally HK 450 rubbish, I have three at the moment and over the year they have been mostly transformed into Align. Very expensive way to go, I know but great fun. I also use a sim
and a small blade helicopter to fly in the house which is also a good learning aid. I do not mind the repairing and rebuilds, its all part of the hobby. Before helicopters I flew and still fly slope soarers and sometimes quarter scale
which has been my passion for the last 40 years. All the best for now. Cheers
