Hi Ade, from power up i have to put a lot of throttle on to nearly max the it takes off, then after hovering a few seconds the heli lurches upwards really fast, i drop the throttle and all is well until i land and power up again. The blades seem to be moving to an extreme pitch when you look at the from the side
Its driving me mad. I have tracked the blades perfectly, i dont understand it.
      Thanks.

        Looks like turbulence.

When you hover in a small room then there's lots of air being pushed around and will affect the lift of the heli. Basically ground effect.

Whats it like outside with no wind?

            Mine did that too!

I thought it was just cheap electronics! Mine did that out of the box and I just got used to it!

Now bought a Belt CP which is in a totally different league, and I reckon a much better bet for the novice (it does what you tell it to!)

            Persevere and good luck!!

              Hi Iecabus,

              Did you resolve this?

Mine does the same thing :-(

I wouldn't hold out too much hope. I had the same sticky collective type symptoms; the above fix changed nothing, and I ended up scrapping it.

As mentioned, the Belt CP (and King fwiw) are much better and actually flyable.

Just a thaught ... Could it be a tooth off a gear in the pitch servo.... I set one up the other day and it had a terible sloppy movment in the head mainly because of z bends in servo arms but it did fly til the esky gyro expired....

                    Motor life on CP2...?

                    Hi guys

I am getting a whining noise with my cp2 and fear the motor could be on its way out.
Only thing is it's only done a few batteries, as I replaced it just the other day.
It is also getting very hot. (I have also replaced the tail motor as I couldn't set it up - now fixed)

Has anyone else got through the motors so quickly, and is there a better quality motor I can upgrade it with? , as it's getting uneconomical to keep going, but I just can't bring myself to call it a day with this heli!

                    cheers
