I thought it came pre setup out of the box with the 450? Or are you binding it to a new heli?

Have you setup the throttle curve for idle up?

No have havent done nothing with settings as i dont know how to atm. Im just using factory settings and idle up switch not working

To be honest, if you're still at that stage, I wouldn't worry about idle up. You don't need it until you start to do inverted manoeuvres anyway. If you have an accident in idle up and you haven't yet trained your brain to hit throttle hold as a reflex action, you'll almost certainly drop the throttle instead and cause more damage.

I flew my first 450 for months before I risked using idle up mode.

Do you have a local club who can help you setup the tx?

yes i have 2 about 30 mins away but no car to get there. theres a man Rodney kee that goes to the omagh club thats very helpful. think he bes on this site aswel

The manual should have the info you need but in essence, the idle up switch just switches between different throttle curves. Normal mode usually has a linear throttle curve so that as you move the left stick, the rpm increases. Idle up just has the rotors spinning constantly regardless of the left stick position.

If it's not working, it's probably because you haven't programmed in the flat throttle curve.

But I stand by my advice. Avoid it until you're ready!
