Great. I was worried they'd be £10+ but they're only £2-3, not too bad at all! So will this RTF heli come with a charger, so my brother can be charging one battery, then swap for another after a couple of minutes rest post flying, or do I need to buy the charger separately? How long do the batteries in the controller last?

Yes it comes with a charger and the batteries in the transmitter should last a fair while so long as it is turned off when not in use.

The RTF package comes with a charger - each battery will last about 5-6 mins before it hits "low voltage cutoff" - where the heli will start spinning down. Your brother should aim to stop before it hits this point as running LIPO batteries down to this stage will ultimately damage them.

The AA batteries in the controller should last a few months I guess, but it depends how often your brother uses them!

Just got this picture of her brother switching off the lights and chucking his heli into the teli screen lol. Glow in the Dark Blades - I ask you. I wish she was my sister & I'd draw up a real list of my next Christmas presents.

To be fair, I totally admire her research and all the advice she has had has been heart-warming. Great hobby! I sincerely hope he gets everything she wants him to get out of his first heli.
