Well after much deliberation on if I should get a 2nd hand trex 450 or a brand new blade 450x I ended up with the trex! I am basically just an exotic material tart!
Anyhoo, I couldn't believe how stable and powerful it felt. I only hovered and moved it about tail in under the dim light of streetlamps but it was enough to seal the deal!
I can't believe how different things are this time round! This time last year I was chucking a 130x about thinking how easy it was, then came the trex 250 of doom! And the shocking difference between flybarred and flybarless! Needless to say that heli put me right off and I gave it up last March.
This time though I bought what turned out to be a well set up and lovely little Gaui Hurricane 200 which rescued my love of helis!! Now I can fly figure eights in both directions and even manage half decent loops and rolls which is something I never thought I'd be able to do witha flybarred heli!
Needless to say this 450 feels great so far and cant wait to get stuck into it!
I thank you all for the help and advice, and here's to many years of spending thousands on a new addiction! (as if a twin turbo 300bhp estate car didn't cost me enough!!)
Cheers.
