    Hi Zeus

there is a cheap DX8 on the for sale for £150 also a dx6i for £60 both good prices.

do be careful a 450 size cp heli is no toy and has loads of power! Always disconnect the motor leads when working on it and personally I'd never put a battery on one without it being bound to a radio. Always radio on first then plug in battery to heli. Disconnect battery then turn radio off. Im relatively new and have had no one around to help me but for the forums. I've made mistakes and been lucky! Please treat them with respect. The others above are correct in advising you to find an experienced flyer to help you check it over and set it up before your first flight! But if you get your head I to the forums you can find all the help you need to set up the fbl controller and what to check over before flying. You might need some other tools also. I'd advise a pitch gauge as well as a swash lever as these need to be set accurately for you to fly successfully.

Anyhows welcome to to this crazy world of a hobby it's great ! Hope you have a fun time learning.

Phoenix flight sim sim is a really useful tool in the learning process and will save you £100's in the long run

    best wishes
