At least you have a decent field John, Just think when its finished it will be smooth as silk again.

I dont know anything about farming the farmer has grown grass on the field for the last 3 years about 4 weeks ago a muck spreader turned up the size of a double decker bus and covered the field in manure...then the farmer ploughed it only a shallow plough though not the deep plough that his other fields got...it has been left ever since what do they do next...is it left like this for the winter and seeded in the spring...other fields I have seen are are nice and smooth and level...we are very lucky that the pits are not on farmland and we can do more or less what we like...
