The difference between the PL6 and the iCharger 306B, in my honest opinion, really is just price. Both are excellent chargers and both are just as good as each other. We have tried to supply Revolectrix products, but were refused distribution rights as the have been have been given to only two distributers within the UK. This idea of course dictates the price and is why the price of the PL series of chargers are much more expensive in comparison. Both are excellent products. The comments of buy right, buy once applies to both products.

I've seen numerous examples of iCharger providing support for their chargers whether it be software or hardware. There's a very extensive thread on them over on rc groups about it with the manufacturer maintaining and helping people out if need be. If you buy your charger from Chris at electriflyer you will get top class support in my experience so nothing to worry about there.Originally posted by xygax View Postas far as the design and engineering go PL6/8 win hands down you can get support for their repair directly from FMA no chance on an icharger...TREX 700E DFC SK540

That would be possible of 8A per channel so 2 5000mah 6s at a time but 4 would not be possible at 1cOriginally posted by pragmatist View PostIs the IMAX B6 duo any good for my 30c 6s 5000mah batteries?TREX 700E DFC SK540

Battery charger
+1 for the ICharger 306b
I run two of them and have checked the balance of both with a fluke meter. Both bang on to 2 decimal places.
Both have been fully reliable in use. And so have all of my mates Ichargers.
Can't say the same for the PL series.
My mates packed in just after going out of warranty and optipower didn't want to know. It didn't just fail either... It finished the packs out of balance by a consistent amount. Causing an imbalance in the discharge which would have binned the cells if not spotted.
On the plus side, when he got in touch with the states they did replace the unit although that took over two weeks.
If you read the junsi/icharger thread on helifreak, what you will find is a company that engaged with its customers over its design and added every feature that was asked for including factory calibration of each individual unit. This kind of development to market should be supported wholeheartedly, and encouraged at every opportunity. It was this that persuaded me to buy Junsi in the first place.
Good luck with whatever you decide to purchase.
