So after some advice off Ritchieme i brought a V911. I've loved flying it and picked it up fast. I want to start saving for and investing some time in researching what to get next. I want to stay Mini, not jumping up to a big bird yet haha, so far i've Looked at the V922, Mcpx and the Walkera Mini CP. If there are other decent options id like to know ?

Any advice from personal experience would be much appreciated

I started out with the V911 last Xmas and this is what got me hooked on rc heli's. I then bought the collective pitch version, V922 rather than say a blade nano cpx thinking i was saving money.. This turned out to be a big mistake. Firstly the heli is much more difficult to fly and having crashed it a few had to wait weeks for replacement parts. Secondly the controller is bespoke to these models and doesn't have settings that let you "dumb" things down. I ended up putting it to one side and invested in a nano, where parts are readily available and DX6 which is the route I'd recommend

Thanks for the heads up. I love the little v911 but i do kinda want to get a better brand next, and pick me up a DX6. The Nano is smaller than the Mcpx right ?

Yes it's slightly smaller. Believe Horizon Hobby are doing a deal on the mcpx at the moment.
