hi all , robbe helicommand wonderd if any one knows if this would work on mini titon. as i am thinking of getting one, as far as i no you dont even no its there untill you let go of the stiks, expensive it is but so are repairs & not to mention down time. seen it at revolution site .

The Helicommand works on any heli Jim, I had one until a month ago when I sold it as I have progressed beyond it now.
As for value for money, YES YES YES all day long, I know some people knock them as it doesnt teach you to fly.
It never says anywhere it teaches you to fly, What it does is save you hundreds of pounds on expensive crashes when it takes over when you get in trouble..

Setting up Helicommand
Sorry I'm coming to this thread late - seriously thinking of buying one of these for my new 450se - encouraged by your remarks. I would have thought not. I got a 450SE with one fitted pre built and also recieved a DVD from the guy who fitted it showing what is what. On a plus side once set up the system is robust and a great learning aid. You will be hovering like a pro from the word go. As you get more confident just turn the sensitivity down.
Tried mine at the weekend 40 feet up and if you panic or get in trouble just let go of the sticks and it will level itself, then just throtle back to bring it down. Do not try this in the garden as you need plenty of space.
Just to end on an ironic note when I got home from the playing field I had a final battery in the garden and I clipped an overhead telephone cable. The 450 came down like a..........................
Even the helicommand won't save you from this - you will crash but not so often.

Surely the pleasure is in the pain? The pain of getting it wrong and then gettitng it right more often?

It does help with your learning if you can remember to let go of sticks and not panic
Panic is a major contributor where crashes are concerned even when you are half competent, learning not to panic when things are going tits up is part of the learning curve 
Once you can fly a bit the HC starts to be a pain/feel odd as the heli doesn't always do what you expect, although this is more a case if you can fly before you use it than if you use it from the start.Phil

Thing is, the pain also = ££££ and not all people have loads to dump into the hobby. So from that point of view the helicommand is a worthwhile purchase, as afterall you can sell it on when you've out grown it.- Futaba T14SG

I helped a friend set up his helicommand on their raptor 30 a few weeks ago.
Great piece of kit!!! It really does what says on the tin.
As for the argument of whether it’s a good training aid or not is a matter of personal preference. I learnt the hard way but I can see how it gives conference to new pilots.
Once again thoe what a great piece of kit! A bit tricky to get your head round the set-up of it but my god what a clever piece of tehchnology

I can see the perspective of the folks who don't like these systems - but these are my key reasons: dwindling funds and a need to see my heli in the air for longer than a few mins. An oldish shot but here it is fitted to my raptor 50.
I can honestly say the heli never crashed once when this device was fitted. Thats the truth.
