can anyone shed a light on a first nitro for me cheep but cheerful.....thanks in advance.

Cheerful, trex 600n. Not so sure about cheap though. Unless you're prepared to look at second hand, what is cheap to you. Even a nitro 50 off HobbyKing with all the bits in is going to be best part of £7 to 800.

+1 on the 600. You can get a 600nV2 (the model previous to the latest DFC) quite cheaply these days, and later you can convert it to FBL if you wish

Anything really Raptor, Trex, shuttle. All are as good as the guy who set them up. I do know of a brand new shuttle ready to fly for £250 just needs the head setting up and you would need a transitter and reciever. Im sure he would sort the setup out for you
Some say my left nipple is the shape of a Raptor canopy.......... And that for fun I chase sheep in wellies 3 sizes too big. All I know is I am 3D Clod

an Align 600n will serve you well for a least a few years...and you can pick one up BNF for around £400 now. buy from here ideally or BMFA as you'll end up with a complete pile of crap from ebay if your not careful

Raptor 30/50 or Trex 600n. Spares plentiful and not too bad on the wallet.

From your previous posts I'd say a trusty raptor 50 over the trex. The belt tail is good for learners and the model as a whole is built to last.
