Trex 450 plus help

Im a newbie.. lol

Iv had a minor crash and had to change the main gear and the feathering shaft but the problem im having is that when i go to fly the head seems to be very shaky and looks unstable. I have not lifted it of ground incase i crash again. and any1 help please??

It could be where the main shaft goes into the head block is not a good fit .I had to pinch it a little bit

ps don't lift it off ground until its resolved... unless you have lots of ££

No other parts broken. i had a boy look over it and he changed the gear for me but he showed me how to change the feathering shaft and i did wat he said. he said the rest of the heli was fine.

The main shaft itself could be bent.

You'll see by rotating the blades slowly yourself and if the top bit doesn't stay in line that'll be the issue.

Did you build it from scratch or was it already built when you got it? If you strip the head if you have manual and take main shaft out and roll it on a totally flat surface if its bent you should see gaps of light appear underneath

no it came RTF but maybe thats what ill have to do. Im a newbie so this will be hard lol

If u have a spare main shaft put it on and try it that will eliminate whether the other one is bent or not, sometimes it's hard to see by eye

If you have a small piece of glass roll the shaft on that you should able to see if it'sbent

Is it only a wobble when spooling up, as it looked ok once it had reached a good speed.

If so, that's pretty normal.

no it came RTF but maybe thats what ill have to do. Im a newbie so this will be hard lol

It's not hard take bolt out of main gears and head pop links off and pull it out 5 min job ill await reply in 20 mins
