Looking for a 4 ch out doors helicopter

Hi guys ! I've been looking into getting a 4 channel out door helicopter , but i would like a single rotor And the hole helicopter to be 600mm to 700mm long I've kinda found 3 that I think maybe worth a try.

So I'm just wondering if any of you might stay away from any of these or witch you may feel is the better one .

or maybe there is some thing else out there that is worth a look ???

most people on here will say stay away from them all and they are right.... why a 4ch why not get a 6ch.....

I have a esky belt cp but was warned not to try to fly it till I've got good with a 4 channel , what 6 ch would you say are good to start out with ?

depends if its indoors or outdoors mate. have you got a sim and how good are you....

Yeah I've got a sim and I'm okay , just want some think that's okay in price and and I don't have to hunt for parts , I want to fly out side though !

First, Rule 1 of helicopter flying is that you WILL crash - we all do! So, you need a heli that has been designed to be repaired in a modular way, and that spares are readily available for.

Rule 1 rules out Double Horse anything.

Rule 2 of learning to fly is that you want something that makes it easy and fun for you to progress - not something that is so bad that even a pro would struggle to fly it.

Rule 2 rules out ESky anything.

I've never even heard of MJX!

Good/reasonably priced helis are :-

(4 channel) Blade 120SR, Blade mSR, Blade mSRX - The best is the mSRX which, being flybarless is the most capable of flying outdoors.
(6 channel) Blade mCPX v2, Blade 130X - Neither of these are really beginner helis. Really, they are intermediate in the case of the mCPX, and borderline expert for the 130X.

Not sure why you specify an ideal size since that doesn't really help you. bigger = crashes harder and with more expense.

Honestly, I'd look seriously at the 120SR, mSR or msrX if I were you. The mSRX is the one I'd go for.

well this is only my opinion. i set my mate up from scratch.. i got him a sim and then i got him a raptor 30. he was lucky cause i set it up for him and got it flying sweet. he used it with a training kit for two outings and now after a couple of months hes flying light circuits and hes doing very well. have you a club near you ??

If you've got a sim, and can fly the 6-channel stuff on that, then consider the mCPXv2 or 130X. The 130X is better, but the mcpx crashes better.

As per my other post - the msrx is the simpler heli though.

The msrx is OK in light winds outside - the mcpx and 130X can handle quite stiff breezes.

Yup - if you've got somebody nearby who can set you up, show you the ropes and guide you through it, this is definitely an option - albeit a more expensive one (at least initially, if perhaps cheaper long term). If you're a bit on your own though, the micros represent the least risk approach I think (both from a personal injury, and a "wallet injury" perspective!)

Apparently he can actually fly them too (although I've never seen any evidence of this). He goes under the name of "Kylelnsn" on this forum - perhaps try sending him a PM.

It won't be your last heli, so don't spend too much time thinking. It goes msr,msrx,mcpx,130-X. Cost and difficult goes up from left to right. Ones on the left better for indoors and on the right better for outdoors. Much bigger helis are better for outdoors.
