    I've had no trouble with the LEDS, adding resistors only to the red and the yellow (I think, anyway its listed at the beginning of this thread).
    I had some failed solder connection near the battery (poor soldering), and I had a track fail near the tip (dragged in the grass) but remarkably the LED was still there and I repaired the connection.
    I doubt if anybody is going to reach 100 hours illuminated with these things. The idea is to have night blades that fly the same as your day blades (the commercial offering always seem to have reduced stiffness) at negligible cost (except personal time).
    I wouldn't enjoy flying those expensive skywriting blades!

      2pack clear , would be better but very poisonous to you ...... de grease and sand (scotchbrite) the blades before working on them and I lacquered the whole blade .

      also try different colours top and bottom it helps .
