  • Does swashplate limit menu L set flip/roll rate?

Or is it all done through software paramaters?.My TX rates and servo travel are all at standard 100%.

The reason i ask is on my initial set up i had a blue led at 6 degrees for menu J,but just didnt feel i was getting enough cyclic movement without binding for menu L.so went back through adjusting servo balls etc to get more cyclic movement and ended up with a purple led at 6 degrees which ive read isnt much of a problem.

My question is,would i have a faster flip/roll rate with more cyclic movement in menu L,or is it all set through the software parameters?

    thanks!

Hi, on the beastx the menu points j and l dont affect the rool/flip rate, menu point j sets the geomerty and you should get a blue led at 6 degrees of pitch (the closer it is to the blue led the better/efficient the beastx will work). Menu point L sets the cyclic limits which again should be set to get the max amount of travel without binding (it also doesnt set the max roll/ flip rate), These settings should be set up correctly for the bx to work well.

Now the best way to increase the roll/flip rate is to adjust menu point B (control behaviour) the standard setting in the bx is sport which gives quite a slow roll/flip rate, so either increase this to pro or extreme but if it doesnt seem fast enough then set it to Transmitter mode which allows you to setup the roll and flip rate in your tx (defo the easiest and best way use). By increasing the travel adj in your tx for alieron and elevator will increase the roll/flip rate.

So as a summary you should always adjust menu points J and L to blue led and max amount of cyclic throw for best peformance then increase roll and flip rate via TX travel adj!!!

    Hope this all makes sense

Don't set anything other than 6 degrees under menu J. It teaches beastx the geometry. To increase flip/roll rates use dual rates on your tx. It won't actually increase the amount of travel but the travel time.

      Cool?

Just set responce to tx parameters menu (blue) then use travel (rate) to increse/ decrease the rate start at 100% + faster - slower same as tail.

          cheers
