      • I am glad I tried it tbh and with enough tinkering and more time I am sure I would grow to love it. It does fly VERY well as stock which was always a huge plus with the BeastX systems. Just for me, it lacks the flybar feel which is obvious really as it's not a flybar! Lol.

Please don't be put off by this, if you are interested in going FBL this unit is a total no brainer!!

I'm possibly out on my own here, and disagreeing with better pilots, and I don't fly anything bigger than 350mm; but I reckon the biggest FBL wins are with small helis.

It seems you can make a 450 Pro do good FFF, tight hovering and potentially loads of stuff I can't currently do; provided you've got a good FBL controller, good servos & head, and run gains high enough to keep it tight. (I back the gains off for FFF, esp in wind).

Right now I'm really pleased with my SK-720 450 Pro & Outrage G5, and I don't reckon I've done anything all that clever with them...

[I got on ok with a V-Bar, too.]

Coming soon (well, probably not that soon...), an X2. Small FBL helis rule. I will 3D in the hovering area while UltraMatt is ultra exciting on the main strip...

The 550 with the V bar and the dfc head has blown me away,i cannot believe how sharp the 550 is now, going to 2.4ghz and getting my first V Bar V4 are the only two times i can remember being so impressed with a new bit of kit.

As an example, rolls have always been a weak point for me,stationary ones forget it,with this head i can do them continuously without barely thinking about it,well it works for me anyway.

Will be interested to see the AR7200BX though,it should sell well.

                  • One thing I will say, when I first tried FBL I could then do funnels and hurricanes. I could never get them right with a flybar on a 450. That could be down to sim practice but fbl on the smaller heli's is a great helping hand for those learning 3d like myself. It's the low stuff that I cannot seem to do with fbl. I seem to be just more comfy doing that with a flybar. I am just weird but you ALL knew that!
