Cheers for posting the vid, nice flying.
However..............Pro pilot's demonstrating these units show very little imho. I remember seeing Alan Szabo fly the original 3G unit and it looked amazing. It wasn't until us average Joe's got it that we found the niggles and problems with it.Field of Doom Flight Club - Founding Member, regular contributor!

I think the hardware is as good maybe more flexible as it can be used on nitro, software maybe not as good but that's always being updated so time will tell.Originally posted by jph140 View PostDo you think the Beast will be as good as the mini vbar Chris?
Will deffo try one of these somewhen, look forward to the flight reports,I think it's an excellent move by freakware.

Yeah that was v2 though. I am hoping the new v3 has resolved the inconsistant tail issue. If it's no good I'll sell it and get a Vbar.Originally posted by waveydavey View PostDan, it's not going to fly any differently to the standard Beast. I've bought one because I like the original and this allows me to get rid of a box. I remember you not having too much success with the Beast a while back. Why buy another one?

The tail is defo better on V3 for bigger models. However, Russ Deakin flys the Beast on all of his models. They being 450's and 500's he reckons that the best tail can be got from V1 believe it or not. What he doesn't know about tail setup isn't worth knowing so don't expect too much Dan and start saving for the Bar. My 600 is fine with V3, I have to really push it to get it out of line. Overall the setup with V3 is better and with micro settings able to adjust most of the flying parameters then you can fine tune it. Apparently the software is being written to enable the full setup from a PCLast edited by waveydavey; 27-01-2012, 08:34 PM.

How funny. I flew one pack with the 450 today with the flybar and gp750 and loved it. Will still give the BeastX another try. Might see if Pete wants to swap..........
