I updated the 3G units to V3 firmware, reset the controller and checked pitch etc just in case.
Hovered in the garden, fine.
Went to the field, 15 seconds into hover and watching tail as seemed to be a slight drift back after input and WHAM, it put in full back elevator and smashed in tail first. No input from me what so ever.
I had put a new cable on, checked pins and sockets all OK and plugs well locked in.
Plugs still firm after crash, no pins pushed back, sockets fine.
I didn't glue it in as I wanted to do any PC updates after trying it out.
I will leave the PC cable glued permanently in place next time.
Not reliable cabling at all. Take great care.
I'm leaving my 550 on V2.1, not risking that.
