Not wanting to state the obvious but you have turned the gain pots up higher yes? If it drifts from take off it sounds like you need more gain to hold position. If it wags you have too much but if not simply dial in some more gain. No matter how much tweeking you do to the mechanics if there is insufficient gain to lock it will never hold. Both pots on my 700n are near max with no wag at all. Give it a try mate.

my gains are at 2oclock i havent heard or anyone going any higher then that but i wll give it a try i take it if i do go higher it wont do anything to silly it will just wag a bit in hover as with the fl760 i turned the pots to about 1oclock and it shook so bad i crashed it trying to land

I can't say what it will do to your machine but by the sounds of it you need more gain. As ever adjust in small increments and one pot at a time so you can see / feel the change. Both Ail & Ele pots on my 700n are past 3 oclock and it is fine (I am still on 2.0 firmware). No nodding whatsoever and it holds attitude pretty well.

My mate runs a beast x on his 600n and his aileron pot is really high to stop sideways drift but the elevator pot is low as it tends to nod easily. Each heli is different and each pilots preference is different. Sounds like you have checked and rechecked the mechanics so try the gain - just do it in very small increments. And if it does start to wag DON'T PANIC and try to land straight away, let it settle itself before landing.

wel just popped out for quick test flight still drifts to the right and back wind was about 15 to 20mph i raised the gain pots up bit at a time and ended up maxed out on both there was no nodding even if you flicked the cyclics about i was only in a hover i didnt do any circuts so might be diferent in fff but it still drifts the same way but defo and improvement it also still went of with the wind when doing a piro

              Hey.

Did you try the transmitter trims to trim the model?
These can still be used within reason, if you need a lot then the swashplate isn't level, but small amounts is ok.

In a strong wind the model will nto stay still in a prio for long, out the box the 3GX does not have any GPS position hold abilitys, so like a flybarred model will eventually be pushed offline by a breeze.
