What TX do you have & have you inh pitch trims.
Best advise i can give is to do a model reset then inh any pitch trims that you tx may have then do the dir setup again.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

        Hey.

Just a thought, but what BEC/power supply to the servos are you using?
I'm wondering if you using an Align 6 amp unit, which is not up to the job of powering a 600 class machine on full size servo's when it is flybarless and if this could perhaps be giving you a jerky servo issue, as when they move the power supply reduces and they slow down.
        Just a thought for now.

The 3GX does show jerky servo movements on the bench, but is not noticable in flight. However I have had conversations as to if this doesn't help flight performance, but no definete answer can be made over this.

The power supply is a seperate lipo connected to the switch which came with the heli when it was flybard, is there another way I can connect it , the servos are futaba s9252 on cyclic and the tail servo is futaba s9254 but this does have a voltage regulator on it. The heli flies ok but it just seems to respond slowly as though there is a dely from stick input to heli movement , just like you are chasing the controls thanks CJS

In software version 2, I was also getting the jerky movement, or rather it was was like a slight delay between inputs. In Flight mode parameter 2, I adjusted the flybar simulator from 50 to 85 which helped. Worth a try.

I've just converted my trex 700n to FBL with a 3GX and I've found the dead same problem. The heli seems to have loads on expo built in and in the hover minor transmitter corrections seem to do nothing then kick in late making it very jerky and slow to respond. I'm going to have a play with the settings but I know what you mean I like my heli very sensitive as it was with the flybar and it now feels numb and unresponsive on small stick inputs. Move the sticks a little further and its very responsive so not sure which parameter I should adjust. I've taken off all dampening and it didnt make any discernable difference.

Certainly not impressed with it so far so hoping the rain will clear off so I can get down the field with the laptop and try some adjustments.

To confirm - v2 software does not have model pre-selects.

To get round this problem you must install the latest 3gx software which is now v2.1 ,then update the firmware of your 3gx. Then uninstall v2.1 then load v1.2 ,when you connect your 3gx the v1.2 software will still
read your 3gx as having v2.1 firmware but you can now select any of the pre sets and load them to your new v2.1 3gx. Im sure there are others out there having this problem. Hope this helps.
