How to setup Govenor for Trex600N using 3GX.

Morning Guys,

I am new to this forum, would like to introduce myself first, I am Morne from sunny South Africa, and new to heli's, not sure if there is an introduction page on this website, didnt see any. I have just finisheg my Trex600 LE V2 FBL with an Align 3GX gyro, I have done the whole setup via software but not sure on the governor page what to dial in the blocks, like the ratio, engine speed, headspead. I also find you can not put numbers in the headspeed block. The manual say the ratio is 8.5:1 so what engine RPM do I dial in?

8.5 :1 is correct for a Trex600
I set up about 16000 for the engine. comes out to about 1950 head speed, use the percentages in your transmitter for final adjustments (Idle up 1 and 2)

Hi 1Chris,

Thank you for the reply, so is it correct just put the ratio numbers in and the engine RPM? As I can not put anything in the rotorhead speed block on the software? Sorry for all the stupid questions, where would you adjust the percentages on your tx, what menu will go into? I converted from aircraft to heli's.
