Just flew 4 packs with the default settings on my 450. It was very windy and did not have much space so mainly hovering and forwards flight. Was really stable in the gusts and I messed around with putting some control input in on the ground and did not have any tipping over moments

The piros are much better than before. Can't wait to get it in some more space and with a little less of a gale blowing.

Ok so got her to help with the shorter flight video. He is basically saying that it is very windy (no surprise there) and then he goes through the servos (what is on the screen before the flight starts). All the stock 450 v2 pro bits and he says the 3gx is on the v2 software (again no surprise). The only bit that my wife did not get because of the music and his mumbling was that there was the number 18 followed by something.

Will try to get the setting for his 450 from the first video tonight.

      Cheers,
      Alastair

        Hi All,

Tried the update yesterday, findings are, fly's real nice, a better feel, though on setup had to reduce the ail and ele travel to stop binding (in the program only). gyro gain had to be reduced by half so from 60% to 33%

Outcome, feels good, much better, though they have made the setup slightly longer to do. Will get a video up soon

Why did you have to reduce the gyro? Mine was fine. I think. I dont understand gyros though...the guy in the shop set it up for me and ive no idea what he did!

Appologies if it has already been mentioned..

On the two models I have setup on V2 so far (450 and 600n) the default maximum demanded roll rate (~250 deg/s) has come out much higher than the pitch rate (~180deg/s) , as seen in the ‘movement speed’ panel of the software.

            Is this intended?

I have adjusted the sliders in ‘flight mode parameters’ to make them more equal, or am I missing something?

I had the same experience, the guys on helifreak suggested it might be a software bug. I left my roll/flip parameter rates equal and flew it to see if the movement speed panel was wrong. My actual flip/roll rates felt the same so i'm guessing they were right.

              Very pleased with v2.0 overall.
