Align 3GX MRS - factory reset

I have an Align 250 FBL that had the 3GX MRS fitted. Is it possible to do a factory reset and re-programme from scratch, as I can with Spektrum 7200 units?

If so, how? I can't see anything about resetting in the manual. Thanks.

This has been my concern with the 3gx as it always saves your models setup even if you do newer or older firmware update, when youdo fit it on another heli & go through the dir setup it will over right the previous model setup as you go through each setting.

The 3GX and 3GX/mRS are very different flybarless units. The 3GX/mRS is quite limited in functionality.

To the OP - when you say reset it - what are you trying to do? Is there a particular problem you're trying to fix?

Thanks to you both. I have been carrying out some significant surgery/repair to the 250, including a replacement cyclic servo. It seemed like a wise thing to do a re-bind. I followed the binding instructions with the bind plug fitted to 'throttle', but all I get is two red indicator lamps on the 3gxmrs unit and a flashing orange spektrum satellite light. It seems that, whatever I try, I can't get rid of and beyond those red lights. With a spektrum 7200, I would have gone back to a factory setting and set up the model again, just to be sure. Any help to move on would be appreciated.
