  • 3GX mrs Pitch direction

Hi all, I have been flying my T rex 450 plus with a DX6i since it was new with out any issues. Today I binded my new Dx9 and have come up against a problem I can't solve.

All the servo's are moving correctly to the stick movements except the pitch. When I push up on the pitch stick, the elevator servo which is at the back goes up, the right servo as looking from tail in goes up but a smaller amount but the left servo goes down? I have tried reversing the left servo direction in the servo reverse menu and from the (Function List > SwahsPlate menu) I tried changing the pitch value from +60% too -60% but this didn't solve the problem.

Ok, all the servo's are plugged in the same as before and all the dx6i settings have been entered into the dx9 the same with one exception. The swash type in the dx6i was set at 90degs 1 servo, now in the dx9 I don't have that option so I have selected 3 servo's 90 degs.

Can anybody put me in the right direction.

    Many Thanks

Ignore my previous answer - this is your problem above. The MRS unit does the eCCPM mixing in the unit, so the transmitter MUST BE 1-servo normal.

In the DX9 it might be called something different (eg., maybe just "normal"), but you CANNOT use a 3-servo layout in your TX.

Hi Tom, I tried that one. It made the rear servo go down when the pitch stick was pushed up.

Do you know what guys, I feel such a div. When I was setting up the swash type, I did see "Normal" at the top of the list but because all others started with 3 Servos or 4 Servos etc I didn't even think that "Normal" was part of the list.

Bloody hell. I've looking for an answer on tinternet for hours before asking you guys LOL

A very big thank you to you all.

Ok while we are on the subject of swash types.

I'm in the process of setting up a MSH Brain on my Raptor 50se Titan. Do I need to select the same swash type too as this heli is 90 deg 1 servo like the 3gX mrs

With a 3GX, you're right. With a 3GXmRS (the one that comes with the Align BTF models), it's 1-servo normal.
