  • 3Gx misbehaving

Well long story short I was using my 450 DFC last weekend, doing some piro stall turns and during 1 I had a tail kick about 90 deg, whiv
ch I corrected quickly then came a second kick 180 deg in the opposite direction, and heading to the ground the second kick happened as I was putting a nose up command in hence the tail dipping and the heli meeting the ground on its side, ouch!

well it's rebuilt now but the 3gx is giving me a headache, while in DIR mode the swash is perfectly level, when initialising normally the elevator servo drops about 1.5mm

One thing with 3gx try and get minimal subtrim, as near to 0 the better.

Because your going through dir mode 3gx is seeing changes from previous your previous dir setup, I think if you do new model setup this will solve your problem.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

Thanks guys but I have been an idiot,

completed step 1 level swash, steps 2 to x don't matter, of course they do you muppet, step for entering elevator and limits needed doing as one that changed the most, I was backing out after setting swash level,

will complete those steps in the morning,
