3gx tail limits , little movement

Hi all , I got a s/h trex 550 for Xmas , I fitted a new 3gx , all the setup has been fine but I am struggling to get full movement on my tail , I set the limits through the 3gx and on set up I get full movement but when I come out of set up I lose about 10mm each side , help please , kenny d

hi Kenny not touched a 3gx since v3, but is your tx 100% in rate when starting setup, or possibly when your setting endpoints from memory it recognizes where your stop while adjusting

Hi gixerman , I still got a lot to learn yet about set up of heli's and radios with hat said in the dx9 ! Servo setup I have 100% on travel , I'm not sure what rate mode is

While setting up , I have moved the tail full left , back to Centre got red light , full right , back to centre got red light , I had full movement before I started setting it up but followed the set up procedure , I believe this stops servo binding , kenny d

I've got it fixed now , I was following the manual from a align 3gx 450 , I went on to youtube and got different advice which has resolved the issue , it might have something to do with different versions , kd

Thats great news we'll done, I think latest v4 maybe even further, had changed quite a bit from previous.
