    Optifuel v model technics

    Ok been flying about 18 month with optifuel 20% never had any issues with it other than my model shop not having any instock.
    I won the christmas raffle and got myself four gallons of model technics Coptermix 20 I was a little unsure of using this as heard that it didnt smell nice and wasn't all that good,but all I can say is wow!
    Put half a gallon through my 700 this morning and it was great loads of power and the smell was well ok (very sweet).the engine did run slightly hotter but just had to make a slight adjustment..
    Once again to everyone who sorted the raffle thank you very much..

    Hey mark, glad your liking the fuel, bet it's better cos it was free also lol

    You will always need slight adjustments when changing fuels over.

    Plus the good thing for me when using it was I only ever had to change one bearing over in any off my engines as I don't like messing with engines.

      Exactly what I used when I still had a Nitro and couldn't fault it

          Great Fuel Indeed,

          One of the flyers at the club has switched from Opti to Model Technics.. After 30% Opti SLV is just as good as CoptaMix 30% - and Cheaper.

                      Oh and for the record my rear bearing was neither RUSTY or worn out ok
                      At least not the one that I had run from new on Optifuel.

                      The other engine / lump of scrap was bought secondhand on here .
